I feel a bit stupid blogging with an empty tagboard. It's like that forever alone guy on tumblr. But ah heck, I blog so I can look at my idiotic ramblings years later. Which reminds me, I just realized my new blogskin has no archives. Ha, I guess that's a good thing, because some of my sec 1 blog posts are too embarassing for anyone's reading but myself. I don't know what to blog about but I'm boreeeeeeed. Been wondering about deleting facebook. No, actually, just the random juniors I added in a moment of temporary insanity. Okay, in my defense, I don't actually check people's facebook info before I add them, I just look at the profile pic, or the name, and if they look familiar I add them. Yeah, and that worked out fine till someone thought it would be clever to change their facebook names to some kawaii-sounding nickname I am pretty sure NO ONE calls them in in real life. And the cartoon pictures, yeah. I changed mine too, but at least I still have my GIVEN name to identify myself. Now I have ahlian/minah juniors I don't even know spamming my news feed with stuff like "aiyo, just cause i pwetty, you come be jealous of me, GROW UP BITCH!" And "Guys sho annoying, always ask for my phone number, go away lah!" And, "People always say I very cute, really meh! I not chio mah..." And these statuses are not ignored -I might've been able to laugh then - they are actually LIKED and COMMENTED ON. To be fair, it's only a small - very small - handful of people who post like this. I know plenty of nice juniors. And plenty of annoying ones. Well I guess I shouldn't be complaining, I DID add them. Thank God for delete-friend buttons, that is all I have to say. I guess it's an automatic reaction, instantly hating the batch below you. I've noticed this happens more just as you turn sec 2. Haha, it was like wave after wave of junior-hate the beginning of this year, but it toned down. And then it started up again with the whole switching-classes thing. But looking back, I suppose our seniors found us equally annoying, if not more, so I guess everyone just needs time to mature a little from primary school. And since I'm so unbelievably bored I shall profile each annoying junior stereotype. (These stereotypes are pretty general actually. Meaning not only annoying juniors pull shit like this, other people - never mind whether they're sec 1 or not - do that too.) The Over-enthu Annoying Junior -She volunteers for EVERYTHING in the CCA. This is good, obviously, but her over-enthu personality also means she intends to make 'friends' with every single one of her seniors. Again, nothing wrong with that (except in UGs I suppose), but she can't bloody tell when she isn't wanted, when her seniors would like to talk among THEMSELVES. So basically she'll join in the private conversation -with other non-annoying cohort mates sitting slightly apart from the seniors - happily chattering away about stuff no one cares about while oblivious to the fact that her seniors are sending hate-waves her way. Also takes things into her own hands without informing the EXCO/teacher-in-charge and acts like nothing happened when shit goes south. The Whiny Annoying Junior -She complains. A lot. Enough said. What, exactly, she whines about, differs depending on the CCA. The Blur Annoying Junior -She spams you with questions about everything. Mostly stuff the teacher-in-charge/EXCO already explained very. Thoroughly. And okay, explaining a second or even a third time isn't that bad, but surely by the eighteenth, nineteenth, twentieth time, even with help explaining from other people, you're ready to tear your hair out. The Ponning Annoying Junior -She pons nearly every CCA meeting/training/whatever you wanna call it. And basically brings down the quality of the CCA when she does show up, because she's been so busy ponning. Also gives EXCOs headaches while asking for medical certificates/reasons why she didn't come. Yeah, I think that's about all. (Yuhui, does the over-enthu annoying junior sound familiar?) 7:55 PM
