I ended up crying after Coals. Not because I missed Charlie. Because it sucked seeing all the other groups doing all the normal ILY MY TEAM stuff and then there was us. Like,"Eh, let's go for buffet together!" And banja-ing and just sitting in a circle talking. I want to know what that feels like. Because what Charlie had was not it. I'm just sorry for our instructors. They were really nice, you know? And they should have got a better group. Would you choose to lead an antisocial, un-enthu, not-bonded group? We disappointed them and I wish I could try again but there aren't any second chances now. I (nearly) ended up crying when I saw Jiaxin and Weixi crying, but I managed to keep it together, because I really fucking hate crying. And then our Instructors saw us and they came over, and they asked why they were crying, and I had to talk and just saying out everything I - we - had been thinking just made it sound even more pathetic. And oh God. Our instructors were so understanding about it. They said yeah, they could see it was hard for those of us who actually CARE about this to cooperate with the ones who didn't. That was pretty much when I ended up crying my heart out. You know what, it felt good. Only I couldn't stop. I think the three of us crying in the toilet were slightly hysterical at that point because we somehow ended up laughing and crying at the same time. Like high elements. When you finally finish your damn scary station and you're so relieved but still freaking out slightly. Then I remembered, shit, have to give a lift to Minru, so I calmed down a bit and went to get my bags. She thought I was crying because I missed Charlie. And yeah, that set me off again. But talking about it with her calmed me down a bit. There's something very soothing about sitting in your car (which you haven't sat in in days) and going home with a listening friend. By the time I got home I was okay, but I still cried a little in the shower. Maybe out of happiness this time ;) And then I took a four-hour nap. Still. Other than that? Coals was awesomesauce :D I'm quite proud of myself for completing all the required stations for high elements. Because falling is my no.1 fear. Which sucks because I dream about that a lot. Even got to the top of the twin centipede thingy! And the zipline was fun. Only the start was freaky, 'cause when you're standing on your platform, your harness doesn't feel tight, so it's a bit like committing suicide. (We named the challenge pole the Commit Suicide Station.) The high bouldering wall was freaky. So was...everything, actually. Rafting in the rain (Y) (Y) (Y) Our raft actually stayed up! Five of us managed to get up on it. Sadly I wasn't one of them. Oh yeah and cheerleading skills came into good use during low elements. We had to climb over a wall. I'm so happy I still can flower people successfully :D The first day it rained, so we had to stay inside and play games like murderer and the what "MM JIJI MM JIJI TUKITUKITUKITUKI GOMBAKGOMBAK" lololololololol. AND IT RAINED ON OUR CAMPFIRE, WHAT FUCKERY IS THIS. But anyway, all the good, the bad, the awesome, the sucky shit, it's all over. I'm relieved and regretful and yet satisfied all at the same time. Everything should be back to normal in the morning. THE FINAL WORDS I haven't felt this clean in days. Also, I am now tanned. Slightly. Legs are still vampire-pale, though, thanks to track pants. My shoulders are peeling. Gross. ME GOT MUSCLES. AND ACHES. AND AWESOME AND SUCKY MEMORIES. 5:51 AM
