lyrics of awesomeness

waking up in the midday sun
what's to live for?
you could see what i'd done
staring at emotion in the light of day
i was running
from the things that you'd say

You got something to say,
your hands are tied--
open your mouth, open it wide
Let the freedom begin
Get on the floor, just let it drop
Don't it feel good, don't it feel hot?
Feel the fire within
I wanna see you STRUT!
(Strut, strut)
C'mon, walk for me
STRUT!
--Strut, Adam Lambert

That was for Min Ru. Get your strut-face, on, fellow Adam Lambert fan (I refuse to use the name Glambert. It makes me think of some cheap make-up glitter line.)

So anyway, my sister, under my mother's guidance, borrowed Tom Freaking Sawyer from the kids' library.

And my mum also bought the DVD of Oliver The Twist.

What is she, on some literature kick?

I never finished both books. Fell asleep over them. Those two books are the only two books I've never finished, I shit you not. They're just too boring.

Or maybe the middle part isn't, but I never got past the first few chapters. Too much cheeminology.

I first tried reading them when I was six, lulz. I remember being bored. I-may-die-if-something-does-not-happen-immediately kind of bored.

Yeah, reading those books was the totally wrong thing to do. On the bright side, it made me fall asleep.

So I tried reading them again when I was about twelve.

I died.

No, I didn't but I fell asleep over them. Again.

I'll stick to Gossip Girl and Harry Potter, thanks very much. Hopefully the DVD of Oliver Twist is more interesting than the book.

Oh, and by the way,

I found out that Cedarians are an extremely depressed lot, from my bloghopping over the past few days.

No, really. You'd think there'd be Extreme Retardedness, from the way most people act, but noooo, it's all depressing poetry and pictures of razor blades or stuff like that.

Usually I save the depressing stuff for my journal (I prefer having something you can hold in your hands to write in, rather than typing stuff out) or rant about it to friends.

Or maybe I just post sad lyrics.

But anyway tuition is currently slapping me in the face, so I guess I have to go now.

Let me hear you say RAAAAAAAWWRRR.
