waking up in the midday sun
what's to live for?
you could see what i'd done
staring at emotion in the light of day
i was running
from the things that you'd say

OMGGGGGGG. OMG WOOHOO!!! Holidays have come a-knockin'!
Unfortunately, however, holiday homework has dropped in to make my holidays miserable. I mean, how can you think of homework when you're supposed to be going hyper? They just don't mix.

OK, since I was too tired to blog about it last night, I am now going to blog about 1M's dinner meal.
It's this stupid thing the school set up to play host to the students' parents and raise funds for our new school building. The students cook, entertain, decorate and wait on the parents. (I don't know how yours truly became an entertainer. Heck, I can't even entertain myself-a fact that is thrown into sharp relief during Maths classes.)

It was stupid. It cost heck a lot of money, (ironic; it was meant to raise funds) although, yeah, we did make $2280. But it hardly did our class any good. There was a whole lot of bitchiness behind the scenes. At least then we could swear freely.

But other than that, I think we did pretty well. And it was awesome fighting for the apple crumble pie and ice cream after all that hard work. Barbaric, that's how we were acting, but it was fuuun. We were more reserved over at PL, I think, although I did see a few food fights now and then. But then the parents came into the kitchen and saw what we were doing.

And Min and I were like, "OMG close the door!" Haha XD

Hey, speaking of PL, my music teacher said she's transferring over there. She told my class it was for "personal reasons", but I overheard her telling a student (not from my class, I was in the music room finishing my podcast) that she likes the atmosphere over there at PL. You know; quiet, peaceful, very appreciative of the performing arts. She obviously hasn't seen the rough side of PL-lites ;)

But, yeah, I think CGSS and PL are really different. For one thing, it's pretty normal to start breaking out into a cheer over here. At PL, we keep our mouths well shut. That's what I've observed anyway. Then there's the whole sports-performing arts thing. I'm still not used to listening to the announcements that the choir, guzheng ensemble, whatever, haven't got a gold.

Well, anyway, contacts over at PL, tell me if you see Miss Chye over there. Hmm-I could suggest running an article in ink about how the teachers who left are settling in in their new workplaces, schools, whatever. It'd be fun to meet Mop Chop again XD

------------
So stay with me forever
Please don't leave me
Until the voices of the demons have gone away
So that I won't lose you
I'll softly make sure
Even if one day, these precious memories
Are turned into mistakes
They are still somehow
So very beautiful...
